Sure it has alot of bugs at the moment, but it is insanely fun! Especially with a good team!

Any other BF2 players around here? We should get a Finheaven match going if there are enough people..

Sorry, I tried BF2 with an open-mind but it's not that great of a game. It's a decent game, not all that it's hyped up to be though. I'd much rather play CS:S and 1.6 than BF2. BF2 is just a more interactive 1942 and with better graphics, gameplay isnt much improved IMO.

I think bf 1942 was awesome, and the bf2 demo was great. I haven't played the full game yet, but I can't imagine it being bad.

You have to play it the way its meant to be played, with an organized team.. Unfortunately, that can be rare.. but the squad/commander systems just add another level to the FPS genre.. When it is working properly, the experience is unparalleled.. If you prefer the more urban environments with less armor and air, the expansion will fix that.. Its called BF2: Special Forces.. It will be more spec ops, urban warfare/infiltration based.. With night vision, ziplines, and grappling hooks..

It wont be the same.. BF2: Modern Combat is a different game made by different developers.. It will really be a subpar version of BF2.

yeah skapephin, it is hard finding a good squad when you aren't goin in with a group ahead of time. i usually play with 1-4 other guys, but times i have to go in solo, i do much worse. i will probabaly be on tonight after 10pm (if my home internet is back up by then), so if you're interested in playn tonight or this weekend let me know. we use vent instead of the in-game voice..seems more reliable.

gotta love the c-4!

i play it from time to time. It's great when you have a good squad that sticks together and uses the voice comm, but can get boring otherwise.

is the multi player better than halo 2? IMO that has to be the best online multiplayer game out now.

It's a different type of game than Halo2. It's more realistic, and much more grand. There's 64 player battles :D

But in the end, it's all about what you feel for. I play this game more than Halo2. But then again, I stopped playing Halo2 3 months after it was released.

i just cant find that game to make me shelf halo 2. i do not play the campaigne just with my friends and brothers on xbox live. 64 player battles does sound good though. black hawk down should be good it comes out this week I believe.

i play rtcw and enemy territory for about 3 or 4 years now. i tried to play battlefield but it takes too long to actually get into fighting. all u guys should try enemy territory. it is a free download(google: enemy territory download) it's made from the same people that made return to castle wolfenstein but when making the sequel, they scrapped the project before done. fortunately they had already finished the multi-player version of the game and released it as a free download. there are usually at least 5000 to 10000 players on. be prepared for a hard learning curve though considering most players have been playing a long time. if ur looking for team play, it is fairly good in that u have an engineer who needs to blowstuff up or build stuff(usually it is the engy who completes the objective and all other classes that protect him), a lt. who gives out ammo and calls in artillery, a medic who heals, and soldiers who mortor and panzerfaust. and finally spy or cov op who can steal uniforms and get teamates through enemy doors. maps are fairly large but not too large where it takes forever to get anywhere. i've also played halo 2. if u love that game, my guess is u really like the game play because the maps are so small and bland. fps is meant to be played on the pc until consoles get more power and a keyboard.
