Japanese hornets; nasty. 3" long and their venom is so caustic it dissolves human skin.

Just wondering if that was 100% real because at some parts it seemed bootleg, or it could have just been the slow motion.

Well, it was overly dramatized; but in essence, it's real. That's exactly what those little monsters do.

I'm surprised there isn't a concerted effort to eradicate those little beasts (the hornets). They could potentially destroy the honey industry in any area that they invade, and they produce nothing - they are not an essential part of any ecosystem, since they have no predators that I know of. All they do is kill productive insects and destroy the benefits the bees provide us in terms of honey and pollination.

Another little-known fact - and this one's gonna gross you out - the Japanese eat these hornets.

As sushi.

Raw.

So its true, you od learn something new everyday. But wouldn't it be wrong to just anihlate them?

Dude, not as far as I'm concerned. There's two species on this planet that are completely self-serving and that deserve to be wiped off the planet - those hornets, and cockroaches.

glad i'm not as small as a honey bee. 30 vs. 30,000, they need better tactics. reminds me of a few fps games i've been involved in where it was all vets vs. all noobs. love the slow mo. amazing.

especially the tank one where every leg landing sounded like something exploding
