I am searching for some opinions on which DVD recorder is regarded as the best.

I have many years of dolphins games on VHS and want to transfer them to DVD, I have done some research but cant get a clear idea of what is the best.

If it helps I mostly want a recorder thats best in these area's :
Picture- a must
Durability- have read where some recorders break down after heavy use
Price- with a new born dolfan, money unfortunately is going to be a factor.

Thanks for whatever help you fellow dolfans can give me.

If you are strapped you might want to consider adding a capture card to your PC.

50 bucks should get you one.:)

Thanks for the suggestion, however I am totally unfamiliar with what & how a capture card works.

Can that be used to put vhs onto DVD?

Thanks

Yes.You take your output from your VCR and connect it to the card which would be installed to a slot on the motherboard of your PC.

There are also external cappers.
