What is the HARDEST game you have ever played?

I would have to say the original "Ninja Gaiden" on the NES.

Shinobi for gensis. Man i couldn't figure out the maze in the last level. Me and my friends had to call gaming hotline to figure out how to get out of the maze.

Mike Tyson's Punchout. I could never beat him and if he hit you once it was all over.

Ikaruga for the Dreamcast and PS2 is easily the hardest game I've ever played.

It's a space shooter, and adicting as hell..

The Metal Slug series is also extremely tough..

I was just going to post that...we busted that game out a couple years ago when I was still in college and would play it every Thursday. We finally got good and could beat those stinkin red guys most of the time, got to the last level, had the cross weapon so we could actually kill Satan, and then it says you have to play the whole freaking game again on a harder difficulty to get the real ending!!! :fire: So we just gave up on it. Beating it the first time was hard enough.

oh.......my.......GOD!!!!!! Dude, I seriously thought i was THE only person who could never land! I used to destroy the first mission, 'til landing time, and I would crash and burn every single time, even though I was doing exactly what the screen told me to. I think I landed ONCE on that damn carrier in all the years I have had that game (i STILL have it), it is ridiculous

definately, you must replay missions over and over to gain enough red orbs to buy health which you WILL desperately need... extremely fun and intense game though, i just never could beat vergil at the end... hes so fast and what damage you DO cause just gets healed back up in an instant when he goes into demon mode...

Top GUn? It was the only game on NES that I actually beat. hehe had to fight what looked like the end of the space shuttle for the last boss.

Hardest game?... hmmm. Battle Toads was really hard.

Hardest game?... hmmm. Battle Toads was really hard.I didn't think battletoads was hard, but the controls certainly made it difficult to beat. That may have been the last good game for the original NES.

ET for the Atari 2600, I still have no clue what to do in that game. I could make his head go up and down and then I found a flower. I think that's about as far as I've made it.
