Whats your hobby?
I live in Northern Alabama, and we live 20 minutes from the Tennessee River so, my biggest hobby is Largemouth Bass Fishing... just went today and caught 12 largemouth, the biggest weighing 5lb.
Other than fishing, I'd say playing online computer games such as Battlefield 2, Counter-Strike, Nascar etc...

Beer (burp, excuse me); my kegarator! sitting home sundays/college football saturdays with that and my Direct TV.
gym (weights/cardio/hoops/raquetball)
Batting cage (cant help my love for baseball too)
Beaches/swimming
Met game every tues/sat for home games (yeah we're a bit weak now but our best players are our youngest; wright and reyes.)
Isles games every monday home game but only once baseball season ends.
I write...alot. Fiction. Usually multitasking between that and here when online but nothing close to being published yet. But I have shown some of my ideas to my editor and within a few years...who knows, maybe ill have made it.
I like the ladies but not clubs. Luckily i have a lot of good friends whom i meet the right kind of women through :)
My cd's/mp3's (name it, theres a decent chance i have it)
Goin to movies (saw Stealth the other day, decent flick)
My arcade style basketball hoop that my landlord absolutely despises but since there's nothing in my lease about it he cant do poop...stinks for him. Punk.
Spending time with my family + friends
Getting into as much trouble as I possibly can without getting caught, beat, or hurt
Doing as little work as possible. (does that count as a hobby or just a pasttime? Or just as laziness? Damn I hate working for other people)

Good guess! I work for a Farm & Garden Supply company, and we sell fertilizers both dry, and liquid for the avocado groves, and home owners as well. I hope you had a great time at Seaside heights! DoctorFeelgood

I've got too many interests and hobbies, but a few top ones are:

1. weightlifting - I've never done anything competitive, but I'd like to try getting in shape to do some amateur powerlifting contests eventually.

2. grappling - haven't been doing much lately, but I wrestled in H.S., and took up training brazilian jiu-jitsu and competing in submission wrestling tournaments, back in 2002. Fun stuff, and I'm hoping to get back into action soon.

3. reading - sci-fi, fantasy, horror, suspense/thriller, spy novels

4. programming (also my career)

5. dabbling with tarot cards

6. bass-fishing

7. watching sports I like: auto-racing (Indy cars and some NASCAR), football (Dolphins and Tarheels!!!), ultimate fighting, amateur wrestling, K1 kickboxing, etc.

8. BMX bike riding - haven't been riding much lately, and honestly I'm too old for the **** now, but I still keep a bike around and screw around with it every now and again. which leads to...

9. mountain biking. I'm about to buy a mountain bike and take up trail riding.

10. enjoy working on cars, I've got an '68 Camaro I will give the 'resto-rod' treatment too one of these days.

11. reading, non-fiction... enjoy all sorts of stuff, history, philosophy, religion, military history (big WWII history buff), science stuff like physics / astronomy / cosmology.

12. listening to music: I basically like heavy metal and classical, but I listen to a little bit of everything. Moshing at thrash-metal concerts is great.

13. posting at finheaven.com and the DolphinTalk board (the gang of refugees from the "old" Miami Herald board).

I dunno, I guess that's the main stuff. I used to like playing tennis, but my knees are too f'd up for that now. I can't run at all. Lots of other stuff that looks like fun, but I just haven't gotten around to trying. <shrug>

And I wouldn't exactly call it a "hobby," but during election season, I usually volunteer to do some campaign work for some campaign or other, and wind up going to rallys and meetings and stuff with my fellow Libertarians.

Well, I think CoV is still in in-house beta, isn't it? I'm in the other beta, though I don't think it's against the NDA to say you're in. I've only tested it twice, and it was at least a month ago.

I'm actually not playing an MMO right now. I quit WoW after a couple months... got bored. I played Guild Wars for a bit. Though DDO doesn't have PvP, I'm looking forward to that, as well as some lesser known games with PvP. I was on Archimonde in WoW.

I guess that's why I've spent so much time here. I'm not really into any games right now. Just working, working out and eagerly anticipating football.

- Surfing FinHeaven...spend too much time playing "Virus 2" trying to beat Clumpy :saberfigh

- Volleyball in base intramural leagues...1-0 right now...last 3 base titles at Yokota Air Base (that should give away who I am if there's anyone out there who's been there for a long time)
:thewave:

- Surfing Volcano, earthquake, and typhoon sites sites...I'm affected by ALL of them out here. Just got through a couple days of VOG here in Guam (volcanic smog--smells like rotten eggs all over the island--sulphur) from the junk that the Anatahan volcano is constantly spewing. Last year in Tokyo it was Mount Asama that gave my car a dusting of volcanic ash. Earthquakes aren't so bad here...had one over 6 in Feb that didn't do much damage.

- There's that surfing porn thing too...my wife's in Japan and I'm here, so...actually I need to lay off the "IP." Headed home in a week for a "visit." Actually it's work, but I get to see the wife and kids for a couple weeks. These remote jobs are a pain. :hump:

- I play some Fantasy Football during the season

Outside of that it's work, eat, sleep, repeat.
