Nope they are not in VIP as yet, haven't seen any anywhere at all as yet. What time was the camp today?

I was pretty sure they were an early and late practice...

Just in case this gets brought up....I move that things like Breaking News..TC Reports...etc remain in the open forum. Im not suggesting that wont be the case, by the way. However, we are part of the way through TC and I for one have been coming dailey to read up on Dolphin news. As much as I would love to give up $24 dollars...which by the way I KNOW EQUALS 2 DOLLARS A MONTH...it isnt in the books at the moment. So ..for us fans who cant pay the money now...please make that type of information readily available to us all.

Thanks.

AFAIK it will be readily available for everyone, there might be some features that will be available only for VIP members and their spouses but otherwise 99% of all news will be in the public forum. However while my opinion was asked on the VIP forum, I am not a mod just a contributor so I may be blowing smoke out my backside and be all wrong.

todays practice was 3:30-5 or 5:30 its tough for some of us inthe middle of the week to get out to practice. But nothing is in any VIP area.

I personally guarentee that those who can't afford the $24 will still get the best and fastest dolphin news anywhere in the world. END OF STORY

I'd hope so... FinHeaven appears to be taking on a commercial perspective. Let's hope its just an illusion.

its not commercial itsmore of a lets not make aj, muck, and the other mods pay out of there own pocket. I know that they were worried about this and demand that the forums stay as awsome as ever !!!! To be honest with you guys I'm in the main forum 99% of the time. I really think its getting way too much negative feedback. remember this is THE LARGEST non official football fan site in the country/world I believe. you have to assume that the adds and merchandise just aren't cutting it to this point. As i mentioned earlier if you got a better idea let AJ know!!!!

Don't sweat it man. Training camp reports, and the draft gurus help this sites growth in the off seasons.

The new section was not made to make a killing guys, it was made so the site can eventually run on it's own. This way Finheaven stays put forever.

As for a report, I've been swamped at work. Sorry.

Sorry, I didn't clarify too much. I have no problem with people pitching in. I will i nthe future as well. But this VIP status has some members thinking they are in group-A, and everyone else is in group-B. Like they are in Beverly Hills, and the rest of us are down in Compton.

Well, without knowing what you are talking about I'd say that whoever tried to make you feel that way is misinformed to say the least.

You, being informed, should have no problem blowing off someone who you know is misinformed.

If someone has the ability to make you feel anything, you're giving them too much power over your life.

That's mostly from fellow fans, not the site. Fans are doing the TC reports, they should remain free for all.

InFins, the thing was that yesterday some "crazy" threads were created suggesting some most improbable trades. The exact thing the VIP guys DON'T want to read. So in the threads they wrote things like "Thank God for the VIP room" and stuff like that, giving the impression of elitism.

Show me a post where that has happened. I was on the board until 4am, and cruised just about every thread (VIP and Main) and didn't see any of that. If anything, I saw people who have signed up for VIP trying to squash comments/perceptions such as the one you just posted.

There was alot of it. Had it only happened a few times here and there I would have ignored it like I usually ignore everyone's babble. But yesterday it was the topic of the day. I heard it countless times. It was almost like ok, I didn't like your one post, so every post you participate in I will hassle you about my VIP status.

I don't think that's elitism... it's a relief. look, we've allcomplained about those types of thread, or threads where people attack eachother and arguments ensue... etc., etc.

The site has responed with a place to go that is away from that type of behavior. The members asked for it, and the powers that be delivered. Simple. And they did it in such a way that it helps the site out finacially.

After listening to two people argue last night in a thread, one of the was a VIP member who was attacked, I posted "These are the types of conversations I will not miss..."

Again, that's not elitism... it's just the truth. Do some soul searching... and you'll admit you've felt this way in reading/posting in threads. I think you are creating this issue. I certainly haven't seen it.

Again, that's not elitism... it's the truth. dd28's statement was very matter-of-fact. And any Admin will tell you that he's right. It is exactly the reason it was created. Again, the members asked, the Admins responeded.

EDIT: Please remember the ignore feature... it works... I use it.

Well, of course there are going to be people in every bunch whose main goal in life seems to be trying to prove their worth by chopping someone else down but, if you fall for it, and let them chop you down, then it's your own fault....

I understand the point of the VIP forum. It is just ironic many of those guys who complained about all the argueing and etc. have no problem engaging in it, and adding more fuel to the fire. Or in some cases starting the fire, so to say.

Well I am 15, I turn 16 August 31st, though so I guess I am alot closer to 16. Thank you I suppose, not sure if that is really a good thing or a bad thing though. I have a picture of myself for anyone who does not believe my age. Although it doesn't really display much, it is a picture of me flexing fora bodybuilding website. But you can tell I look pre-18.

Those guys who support that opinion came in with alot of other guys who felt open with defending that point of view, and insulting us.you're the one taking the "US" and "THEM" mentality. If you want to play politics, there is a perfectly good lounge for that, and I can personally attest to the fact that you can throw just about all the mud you want in there.

As for the dolphins boards, stop it already, I have seen this route end badly for other members, stay within the rules, enjoy yourself and don't worry about the other guy. IF you find a post you think is outside the rules or insulting, report it, but don't feel you have to participate in a thread/forum war that you envision is going on.
