Whats your favorite scary movie you've seen as a child?

I have a three-way tie with:

IT
Pumpkin Head
Sleepwalkers(another S. King movie)

HAHA, seeing the picture from IT made me want to watch it right now...but for some reason it made me remember the movie Killer Clowns from outerspace. Man that movie was crazy, putting humans in cotton candy.

killer klowns rocks - and it has one of my all-time favorite quotes...

Paul Terenzi (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0508942/): I'm Jo-Jo the ice cream clown, we'll give you a stick, you'll give it a lick. And it'll tickle you all the way down. Ice cream, ice cream, we brought our goodies here to you! A tasty treat for while you screw! Let's take a break! Cool off those hot lips with our frozen fruity bars! Icy-wicy, fudgy-wudgy bars. And everyone's frozen delight, the lick a stick!

my very first indoor flick, my jujubees went flyin' at the end, when the bloody hand comes around the corner.

Friday the 13th - if I was at home alone, I'd watch it with the sound off... not so scary without the sound effects.

There was this other VERY old movie - can't remember the name though... there was an old lady at the window, this freaky limo driver... it was awful!!

If you guys actually liked this show you should read the book. The movie covers about 25% of the book, it is awesome. There is so much stuff in the book that was never covered. I think this was Stephen Kings best book by far. I read this book when it first came out in the late 80's, one thing I never forget is back when they were kids to get out of the aliens lair all the boys had sex with the girl. I know that sounds strange but you just have to read the book.

Here is mine, I was like 8 when I saw this, freaked me out. They are remaking it, due out next year with "The Rock" starring in it.

When I was a kid, one of my favorite horror films was Halloween

http://www.finheaven.com/clear.gif

For all you up and coming directors, study this film so you can learn to utilize the widescreen frame to it's fullest. John Carpenter did a brilliant job of that in this film.

Halloween was/is great. Very scary. The part where she(Lauri Strode/Jamie Lee Curtis) was trying to get the little boy to let her in her house with Michael coming from across the street was one of the most intense moments ever in a movie.

I've always liked the Friday the 13th flicks. But they got TOTALLY dumb after "The Final Chapter".

The Omen and The Excorsist were freaky. I could make a long list of them.

I'm a horror/thriller writer, so I had a lot of movies influence me.

Did you see Freddy Vs. Jason at all? If so, did you like?

BTW, they are working on Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Michael Myers

Yeah i saw Freddy Versus Jason. I wouldn't miss a Jason movie no matter how cheesy. :D I was disappointed that they made him look like a lumbering idiot and made Freddy look like Jackie Chan. People forget that Jason DID run after his victims in the earlier films. Now they make him look like Frankenstein. It's annoying.
I heard they had scrapped plans for the Jason/Freddy/Myers flick and are still considering a Freddy Versus Jason sequel. (You can read about it on LairofHorror.com) If they do make a sequel, they need to make Jason a little more mobile. It's like watching Drew Bledsoe in the pocket.

Yeah, Freddy Vs Jason was bad enough. Throwing Michael in there would really be the deepest depths of DUMB.

There were also rumors afloat that they would make Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ashe (The guy from the Evil Dead movies) Another dumb idea.
