Most realistic: Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Most entertaining: Breakfast Club

Most underappreciated: Revenge of the Nerds (although it takes place in a college, it's still geared towards the teen market) and remember "You gotta put one foot in front of the other...the other one down, down, DOWN!"

St. Elmo's Fire was great. Goonies was cool. Definetly has quite a following. I've heard they are considering a sequel with the original cast.

I thought I was the only person who didn't like The Goonies much. The first 10-15 minutes are great, but once they go on their "adventure" all it becomes is one loud movie filled with obnoxious kids who are ALWAYS SCREAMING THEIR LINES. Seriously, I tried watching it recently and had to lower my sound system because of all the yelling.

Buddy Revell: You and me, we're gonna have a fight. Today. After school. Three o'clock. In the parking lot. You try and run, I'm gonna track you down. You go to a teacher, it's only gonna get worse. You sneak home, I'm gonna be under your bed.

This was in 1993, so really does not count, but is my all time favorite THE SANDLOT!

I didn't know that, but it could not live up to the first one. It's an all time classic!

And that Wendy P and the pool part is a classic!

I don't know if you consider this a "teen" movie..but has anyone seen "The Wizard" with Fred Savage?

It's the movie where he has the little brother who is a wiz at video games and goes to the competition and plays Super Mario Brothers 3. How sweet ;<

Not sure if this movie was made in the 80's or not, coulda been in the early 90's, but this one also had Fred Savage (no I'm not some kind of savage fan it's just a coincedence) called Little Monsters played by the guy who used to do the voice in Bobby's World.

Nope, there's never been an official sequel to The Goonies. There's been talk about it for years, but nothing's ever come out of it. There was a Goonies 2 videogame though :D

Oh and yes Little Monsters just qualifies as an 80's flick since it was released in '89, and the guy who played the monster is Howie Mandel (who was also the "voice" of Gizmo in Gremlins)
