Yes, they look like fantasy football rankings......no reason to over-react. As far as fantasy rankings go, they aren't THAT off base.

Fantasy Football bases their wins/losses on how good these players are. It's not that far off of a comparison between Fantasy and the NFL

Yes, it is completely different IMO.......if you are ranking the best WR's in the NFL and you come to Brandon Stokely vs. Chris Chambers......Chambers is the easy choice. Think like this, if you were starting a team, and could have either WR, who would you want?? That's the kind of criteria that goes into 'best wr' lists.

but....

if you are picking a fantasy team, which is based purley off of stats, Peyton Manning makes Stokely a equal or better FANTASY player.

SpurzN703
09-01-2005, 04:32 PM
Yes but the reason why Stokely is the "better fantasy player" is because in reality his stats are better then Chambers.

Stokley last year had over 1,000 yds, which CC had never done.
It may have been a 1 year fluke, even if it's just b/c Manning is the best QB in the league. A WR for the most part is as good as his QB, hence why CC hasn't broken out yet.

how is jj arrington ahead of ronnie?!?!

I guess maybe they are considering our offensive line and how the backs will perform behind them? I think Ricky and Ronnie are both top 10 calibur but well have to see what they can do behind this line.

but Miami's D not ranked in top 10? Come on....

yea they are definitly fantasy rankings...there is no other logical explanation why J.J. Arington would be ranked ahead of Brown and Benson...

At least if there is some Dolphin bashing there will be something more tangible to bash

Do (a number of you at least) ever watch football besides the fins?

Why is Ronnie "better" than Arrington in your mind when neither have played a meaningful down in the NFL.

Besides, the Dolphins do really suck for fantasy value, what Dolphins would you draft in a 12 team league in the first 6 rounds? McMike, maybe...just because he is a solid T.E. and its fun to have 1 Dolphin. Chambers? Hell no, not until we get QB and line.

Yea you take Brady for your QB, I'll take Collins and roll you up.

Bulger is a very good QB. Watch him some time. He reminds me more of Marino than any other QB i've ever seen.

Let's take off them Aqua colored glasses for abit, the league is a very exciting place.
