congratualtions you got drunk and acted like an idiot. you must be very proud of yourself. i heard the phins players didn't have much more class after the game either. sitting in the locker room, dissing the jets. why such sore losers?

y'know it's really a shame that.....................you can't go to an opposing teams stadium to watch your team play w/o getitng abused. and that alot of times, fans of the opposing team coming in to your stadium act like jerk-offs as well. i fi see a pats fan at the jets game, i don't care. sure it may be fun to poke a littel fun at him, but some people wan tto get violent, and thats just uncalled for. i don't get it. most of these people are supposed to be adults. it's a real shame.

it's a maturity factor that's playing in....alot of fans are just plain stupid and immature. They don't know how to behave in public and most likely are wife-beaters as well.

I agree, that is why I do not try too hard to get tickets, I always end up having to listen someone being obnoxious.

Agreed. Watching a violent game and having someone taunt you are two criteria to beat someone down. Beating a women is a completely different thing. We beat them for no reason whatsoever....hahaha...j/k. But seriously, it's different.

if you don't have the maturity to ignore some ****** who can't keep his mouth shut then you shouldn't be going to game either. yeah it's a shame that some people don't knwo how to act. but unless they threaten you physically you are better off ignoring them.

I read the comments. They weren't being sore losers, they simply realized that the Jets and Pennington weren't on top of their game (can't argue with that) and they let a W slip by due to poor play, versus being outplayed. It's called self reflection.

I sat in a section full of Jet season ticket holders and didn't have one problem. Everyone was cool and just wanted to watch the game. If you keep your mouth shut and don't act like an idiot when you're outnumbered at about a 17-1 ratio, you'll be fine.

... then you're a boob. I was there too, and saw 2 dolphin fans get in fights, but there were more Drunkin jet on jet fights. See the key word. It's one thing if some jet fan comes up & smacks ya in the grill, you defend yourself & then you both get tossed. It's another thing, if your standing on your seat chanting in your face when the fins move the chains. I've been to dozens of games there & know if you remember you're in there house that you won't have a problem. I also know (friends experience) that if you're having a problem w/someone, getting stuff thrown at you from who knows who, that if you go to security they will move you to another section. Unfortunately they lost, also unfortunate that you had to listen to the rest of the game on the radio, after paying for a seat, travel, etc, and even more unfortunate that you seem proud of your ejection. :shakeno: .

Dude, when I was younger and lived in Rhode Island I used to go to the Pats/Dolphins game every year, and man, you have NO IDEA how bad it was for a Fins fan there. I was only little too and they used to throw beer on me, come up and scream "SQUISH THOSE FISH" (which shows how smart Pats' fans are, haha, fish, idiots) in my face, have blow up dolphins and rip them up and pop them etc etc. It was pretty bad for a little kid. It's one thing to poke fun at a team, but to harass the fans, especially younger kids, is RIDICULOUS

where were you sitting? someone near my section, 311, was thrown out who was wearing a fin fat. also, some idiots were holding up signs so no one could see. a jets fan threw a bottle at him, and they blamed it on me cuz i was wearing a fin hat. luckily the guys around me were pretty cool and bailed me out.

I'm sure that the only reason that person was thrown out was because of the hat they were wearing...come on. We've all seen this a million times.

Beer+fanatics+lack of self-control= fighting...simple as that.

From what I've seen/understand is that if you are defending yourself you won't get thrown out. Usually the section near you will let security know if you were the dick head or not. Anyone who throws beer and stuff on kids should just get their *** rocked. Do it in the parking lot though.

That's nothing, bud. I got ejected from the Orange Bowl FOUR TIMES during Canes games in the late '70s when I was a teenager.

The oldtimers will remember the Canes played on Friday nights in that era. The team was mediocre to poor but you had some great talent like O.J. Anderson, and since we were independent with no conference tie-ins we played all the best teams like Oklahoma, Penn St., Alabama, and every year we played Notre Dame.

The first ejection was when my friends and I climbed the auxiliary stands in the east end zone. They were needed for Dolphin games but completely empty for Canes games that usually drew about 20,000. Notre Dame had that Sunday hour long highlight show every week with Paul Hornung. I noticed they showed the scoreboard after every score. So I brought a fold-up sign. It said, "Go Irish" or something like that one one side. We stood at the top row, just below the narrow scoreboard the Orange Bowl featured at the time. As soon as the camera behind the end zone turned and focused on the scoreboard and my sign, I flipped it to the reverse side saying, "NOTRE DAME SUCKS!"

Well, after a few minutes of hand slapping hilarity we saw the cameraman summoning Orange Bowl police. They escorted us out one of the exits. We wandered around playing catch and kicking cans until sneaking back in with a few minutes to play. The awkward part was when my dad drove us home and wanted to discuss specific plays. I'm a premier bull****ter but that was some test.

The other three ejections:

* In a game with an absolute deluge, sheets of rain for hours, I found a metal drink concession tray and carried it up to the upper deck. For maybe a half hour I let it clank down one of the rows of stairs. Wow that was loud! It would go down 20 or 30 rows if I had it centered perfectly. I could see fans huddled under the overhang on the lower deck staring up at me during the noise. Took a long time for a drenched security guy to march up there. He wasn't happy.

* This one was stupid. My friend made a paper football and I flicked it. We were sitting in maybe the 3rd row of the upper deck. A gust of wind took the paper football and sent it down to the first level. The security guard up there just happened to recognize us from the Notre Dame incident and booted us.

* The last one was fun. The Dolphins were having a bad year and there was no need for the 4000 auxiliary seats. They had small orange trees behind that end zone. My friend and I picked a couple of good sized oranges and played catch. Now I'm tall but my friend Evan has a scattergun arm and threw it clean over my reach. The orange went through the little gate at the back of the end zone and onto the field, settling on maybe the 5 yard line. The teams were on the opposite side of the field so I thought it was OK to run out and retrieve the orange. The Orange Bowl crew apparently disagreed.
