All week long I have been thinking about a column for this week. I wanted to make it on current subject, so I chose the 2010 Draft. Instead of a column, I wanted to do something new, fresh and never before seen on Finheaven.com. I am no draft guru or expert. For the last two years, ever since the Trifecta was hired, I have been making myself a custom Draft Guide that has proven effective.

My first guide was nothing special. In that draft, the Dolphins selected Jake Long, Chad Henne and UDFA Davone Bess. I really enjoyed the process that goes on with drafting players, so I wanted to get better. This past year I improved, as I researched on every guy Miami was linked to, and when draft day came I was able to check on my list. This time, Vontae Davis, Pat White, Sean Smith, Brian Hartline & John Nalbone were all in my draft guide.

This year I will be presenting my Draft Guide to the staff at Finheaven.com. My intentions are that members of this site will have an easy tool to follow on draft day. Finheaven.com members can copy the guide and use it on draft day at their Draft party, favorite bar, or on their couches at home watching the Draft on prime time. All names that have been reported linking them to the Dolphins, who have visited or interviewed will be in this draft guide. I want you guys to remember this is not an official Draft board or Mock Draft. This is an analysis I have used using sites like Universaldraft.com, KFFL.com, Rotoworld.com, Twitter.com & Profootballtalk.com.

This week, you will get an unofficial preview of the 2010 Draft Guide with just the current names and position of players. I want you all to check back on April 21st for the Official FinAtic8480 2010 Draft Guide. That guide will include official height, weight, 40’s time, bench presses and jumps on all the players. I will also try to give you guys my 2 cents on each player. So join me as I take a shot at being the next Finheaven.com draft expert.
