Week#2 Gambling Corner PDF Print E-mail

Gambling Corner

OK, no excuses last week we got off on a bad foot. This week is a new week though and I do like more of the lines this week. I see some can't misses and almost sure things. So, lets make some money!

COLLEGE GAMES
VANDERBILT -7 over Rice
I like Vandy a lot this year. Rice is a good solid team, but I don't see Rice beating an SEC team on the road. Even a low level SEC team.

Georgia -7 over SOUTH CAROLINA
Look, no need for a long explanation here. Georgia is on another level. Nuff said.

WASHINGTON + 20 over Oklahoma
The first road test for the Sooners this year. Washington is coming off a heart breaking loss. I think Oklahoma wins easy, but Washington will keep it under the number.

USC -10.5 over Ohio St
This has blow-out written all over it. I love USC at home vs Ohio St. OSU's best player is out, USC is a mini-NFL team. This will get ugly quick. This is my STONE COLD LEAD PIPE LOCK of the week!!!

YEAR TO DATE RECORD: 2-2

NFL GAMES
NY Giants -8.5 over ST. LOUIS

The Rams are awful and will have the #1 overall pick in next years Draft. The Giants are still riding high off of last year. Eli and Plaxico will explode this week and go off.

Buffalo +5.5 over JACKSONVILLE
I'm not a believer in Jax in general, with all of the injuries they have I really am down on them. The Bills are currently the best team in the AFC EAST!! Hear that Jets fans?!!! Yes, the Bills are now the team to beat in the AFC East. I think the Bills will at worst keep this game close, but will probably win it. So take the points.

HOUSTON -4.5 over Baltimore
I'm still not sure who that team was playing Cincinnati last week. I don't believe it was the Ravens. This is the week Joe Flacco comes back to earth. Houston is a good, solid team and I think they get a nice easy win at home here against the rookie QB.

DENVER +1.5 over San Diego
I am no Norv Turner fan, and after last week I have given up on him. Denver at home getting points, you won't see that often. Jump on it.

YEAR TO DATE RECORD: 1-3

Stone Cold Lead Pipe Lock Record: 1-0
