Miami has a tall order in front of them this week going in to Philadelphia. The Eagles have a really good run game and Miami's run defense hasn't been that good all year. This will be a good test to see if Dan Campbell can get the defense clicking like they should be. After back to back losses Miami needs a win in order to stay in the playoff pictures.

Dolphins Put In Another Embarrassing Effort

Slow starts are a theme the Miami Dolphins cannot shake. A high snap on the Dolphins first offensive play resulted in safety and set the tone for the rest of the game. Things didn't get any better for the Dolphins as the Buffalo Bills bullied the Dolphins for most of the game. The 33-17 loss was the Dolphins sixth straight loss in the AFC east dating back to last season.

There were not too many bright spots in the humbling loss. Lamar Miller was able to rack up 141 total yards and a pair of touchdowns. Miami was once again saddled with the same problems that have plagued the season. From poor play calling to the defense having no back bone and to the offense unable to spark any sort of rally. Head coach Dan Campbell seems to be in over his head at this point. The team has lost the fire and enthusiasm it had in weeks 5 and 6. Miami has become the punching bag in the AFC east, slipping to 0-4 in the division and the season now spiraling out of control at 3-5. The rest of the 2015 season will have the Dolphins playing from behind, another theme that this team cannot shake.

After a long break in between the New England game and Buffalo this week, Miami is looking to get back in the saddle. Dan Campbell has proven very effective in his first two games as interim head coach, however New England served up a mighty gut check last week and showed the world Miami still has a way to go. Miami hopes to serve a gut check of their own to the Bills this week to show there is still life in Miami.
