Miami Closes Out Season With 20-10 Win
In one of the most improbable wins of the season, the Miami Dolphins team that most expected this year, made another rare appearance. Miami put in an all around solid team effort to knock the New England Patriots out of the #1 seed for the postseason. The Patriots tried to control the game early with a heavy rush attack but the defense didn't let up. The Dolphins were able to capitalize on a late drive before halftime and take 10-3 lead off of a 15 yard touchdown reception by DeVante Parker. The Pats tried to rally in the second half but could only muster one touchdown. The defensive line pressured Tom Brady for the most of the game and when had a chance there wasn't much open. Ryan Tannehill finished off the Pats in the 4th quarter with a 46 yard pass to Parker that led to another touchdown. It was enjoyable win to cap off the season of many forgettable memories.
Now that the season is over the Dolphins will look to fulfill many positions within the front office and coaching staff. Current Dolphins employee has been named to replace former general manager Dennis Hickey. Mike Tannenbaum will lead the search for a new head coach. Reports have stated that Miami has several head coach interviews scheduled this week.
