The Houston Astros beat the Braves 7-6 in 18 innings on Sunday in the longest game in postseason history, defeating Atlanta 3-1 in the National League division series.

Chris Burke hit a home run with one out in the bottom of the 18th to send the Astros into the NLCS against the St. Louis Cardinals.

I watched a couple of the extra innings. It was intense but also boring. If the Angels don't beat the Yanks I don't care who goes to the series so long as it's not the Yanks.

Braves have 14 consecutive NL East titles....but as usual they go down in the playoffs.
