New Hampshire has some great skiing!
I grew up in the Poconos (Bunny Trails compared to New England), and made the trip to Vermont a couple of times... man what a difference!
Have a blast Bro!

I tried skiing once...I fell hard down a big hill and that was the end of me. I was pretty good at snowboarding though only went 3 times but landed a 360 nosegrab off the big ramp at ski roundtop :D

*message from all the florida finfans* STOP THROWING IT IN OUR FACES!!!! (no pun intended, lol) I love the cold and I get cold so friggin easy. I was born and raised in Miami, florida. I have seen snow once in person. I wanna go skiing one day. Is it really hard at first? Or is it just like learning to ride a bike?

Skiing is great, its much easier to learn the snowboarding. You take a beating learning that. Skiing you can learn fast, and can always practice on the easy hills.
Try it, you'll like it.:D

It something you can do for a long time, I have my wife and 3 kids doing it (Kids from 14 to 7). It cost a ton, but its a blast with the family, and friends.
Check this out today, I just hiked this in NEw Hampshire a few months ago! This is today!

Dude that looks awesome. I would love the be there in that snow. But whats expensive about it? Renting everything? Or just going to the slopes. Cause I figured if you own all the gear the it must be the slopes that are expensive.

The lift ticket is very expensive these days. It is around $50 for the day depending when and where you go. And yes if you rent thats another $20 or so. And to buy your talking close to $1000 for everything could be alot less or alot more depending on what you get. But like njfinsfan said once you do it a couple of times the money does not matter. IT is just so much fun to be on the mountain all day. See yea on the mtn this winter :)
