You currently have 0 posts.), refusing Wednesday to offer salary arbitration to the two-time American League MVP.



The World Series champions also declined to offer arbitration to designated hitter Carl Everett (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) and backup catcher Raul Casanova (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.). Players who became free agents and weren't offered arbitration can't re-sign with their former clubs until May 1.

Lately the "Big Hurt" has been just hurt too much.He was the man in his prime though.

And Paul Kornerko. I'm guessing Thome will probably DH full time.

Well, he's cheap, and if healthy, he'll hit for power and draw a ton of walks. Sounds like an Oakland kind of investment to me.
