This time, it would seem, he’s serious.

About twice a year since he came to Boston, Manny Ramirez � or whispering charter members of The Friends of Manny (FOM) club � would put out a story that The Rainman of Swat wanted out. He wanted to be traded to the Yankees. He wanted to go back to Cleveland. He wanted to play on the West Coast. He wanted to go to the movies without being recognized.

Then again, maybe not.

Who knows, Miguel Tejada wants out of Baltimore, a straightup for Manny would be a decent deal, the Sox need a SS now. They dont need to trade Manny. Manny is going to show up and play, hit 140 Rbis whether he wants to be there or not.

The Orioles would never trade Tejada inside their division, and Boston would never trade Manny inside their division, That trade is jsut crazy. Also Manny has a no trade clause and proably would reject a trade or Baltimore
