Beginner's luck -- Dr. Zoom's first real poker tourney

I sauntered down to the American Legion for my first Texas Hold 'Em tournament. It was a $20 buy-in, and we started with about 150 players comprising 17 tables.

I ended up at the final table and placed 7th! Yay, me!

It was great fun, except for the near-fistfight that erupted at one of my last stops.

Good JOb Doc. I have a few friends that are really into Hold'em they play 3-4 times a week at the boat, then always find a tourney on the weekend. Too much time and Money on their hands.
