EA cuts current-gen game prices

This came as a huge suprise to The Mor. Money grubbing EA is dropping prices on current-gen games. They're known as the publisher that never drops prices. Anyway, here's the info.



The prices of several of the company's current-generation games have been reduced in an attempt to get the most out its current crop of titles. Madden NFL 06, NBA Live 06, FIFA 06, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire all seem to have benefited from the price drop, as their Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and PC versions are all now available for $29.99.

Other games affected by the price slashing include Need for Speed Most Wanted (now $39.99) and Medal of Honor: European Assault (now $19.99).

The price tags of EA's Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and Sony PSP games remain unchanged

It goes to show you how much of a margin or mark up these folks put on there games. When they can cut the price in half and still make a profit. Lousy capitolists! :lol:

they need to cut the prices of there 360 games too because all of them seem "unfinished" and rushed

Haha, and Circuit City wanted me to believe I got NCAA 2006 for 29.99 because it was a "sale" :(

Yeah I read a few days ago that Fight Nights Round 3 will be $40 at the release of it. I'm gonna have to hit that up for sure.
