It was a good win for us. We're now 6-3 in the ACC with road wins against UNC, FSU, and Georgia Tech. Now comes the tough part of the sked...final 7 games, 4 are at home, with NC State and UNC coming to town, and us having to go to Durham, Chestnut Hill, and College Park. Gotta win 4 at the very least. Home games against UVA and FSU are musts.

Well that Tech that got called on Johnson, who was then over the foul limit, was obviously a horrible call. everyone knew it, and finally someone is doing something about it.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The referees who worked the Florida State-Duke game were suspended for one game Monday for what the league said was an unnecessary technical foul on a Seminoles player.

The crew of Mike Eades, Ray Natili and Ed Corbett shouldn't have assessed a technical on Florida State's Alexander Johnson (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.) in the second half of Duke's 97-96 overtime win Saturday, said John Clougherty, coordinator of men's basketball officials for the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The technical was Johnson's fifth foul, and he left with 9:23 remaining. Johnson had 13 points and 11 rebounds before going to the bench.

"It came as a surprise to me," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said Monday.

The confrontation had resulted in technicals for both players.
