Need help with resizing image for signature?

Would some one please be able to tell me how to resize an image for a signature. I tried to use an image for a signature, but it wont let me do it as it says it's to large, would any one know how to fix that. Thanks for any responses.

Not exactly Buddwalk was asking me for an image of the signature I was trying to resize, I presume to help me with resizing the image, so I was thanking him in advance for any help.
