DEF in rd 1 and LB heavy? wheres giles\Mangold?

it seems like the entire 1st rd is going to be Defense this year. What happened to giles and mangold? once a last 1st and now they seem like they are out of rd 1 due to the needs of LB. I think there will be about 7 LB taken this year give or take

I feel Max would be a significant reach in round one. I feel Mangold is a reach that high as well, yet, he is a first round talent.
