jason allen v. laron landry

my dream pick would have been laron landry at 16.
I think he is the mold of player we need at our weakest position.
And I was begrudgingly willing to wait until next year,
but Jason Allen has to be the closest choice and im actually torn about who i like better. I think Jason is more physically gifted, but Saban has said that Laron is the smartest player he has ever coached.

Who do you think is better?

I really loved LaRoy Landry... and desperatly wanted him to declare...

With that said... Allen is more talented. If his hip is ok he will be a stud. Extremely athletic and would have gone before Huff if not for the injury...

If Allen is 100% healthy he's the best DB in the draft, with Huff being just a hair behind.

One of the worst matchups for us last year was Tom Brady to Ben Watson deep down the middle. Athletically it was a total mismatch with the speed of our safeties. Where Jason Allen comes out ahead of a guy like Landry is his athleticism and thats a big key to stopping guys like Watson.
