I bring a tale of great woe
Of the trials of a long despised foe
Of the Buffalo Bills
Whom took numerous spills
Nearly hitting the cellar below
It started out promising, sure
'Gainst a team from the west that was poor
But whom couldn't beat
That pathetic old fleet
Who'd go on to lose ten and four
The next week they came back to Earth
In touchdowns, there was a dearth
Losman stunk up the joint
Lindell gave them their points
Their fortunes sank into the firth
To pass for 100 yards
A feat to achieve, not too hard
But J.P. found a way
To fall short on this day
Vick played the 'Vick-tory' card
But surely the Saints they would beat?
A team not oft called an elite
Losman fell on his rump
3 times like a chump
And Deuce beat them up with his feet
Next week, twas our friends in the place
Alas, their play was a disgrace
Miami derailed
Buffalo prevailed
But we'd see them again in our space
Curtis Martin and co. came to town
And they duked it out on the ground
Somehow Willis would win
False hopes would begin
.500 at last they had found
Things are not always what they appear
The Bills, a squad to be feared?
What a foolish suggestion
AFC East congestion
Next week would soon begin to clear
The Silver and Black were up next
With only one win 'neath their vest
But 5 touchdowns and three
Was too much to concede
Now Bills fans were both distressed and vexed
Desiring to turn it around
The Bills visited Patsy town
O, the tears that were shed
When Dil-lon plowed ahead
Holcomb's fumble had let the team down
They thanked the good lord for the bye
Expectations they vowed to defy
And when week 10 arrived
JP Losman would strive
To regain his discarded pride
Holcomb was out like a shot
JP won back his job on the spot
With blood in his veins
He took back the reins
The Chiefs were no match for this lot
But sadly, things come to an end
Winning not a long visiting friend
Losman was futile
And Brees he was brutal
The standings they soon would descend
The offensive drought would not cease
It's as if the offense was deceased
9 was not enough
As the Panthers were tough
4-7, Mularkey not pleased
Now, in all woe there is a rock bottom
For the Bills it arrived late in autumn
Twas on December 4
A day forevermore
Called Black Sunday by those west of Gotham
What cockiness exuberated
With smiles on their face, they paraded
Onto enemy field
So sure they'd not yield
A prospect they'd quited overrated
Early on, it appeared they were right
Their scoring saw no end in sight
Once they hit 21
In the Miami sun
They thought things were locked up for the night
But how wrong they were on this day
Tho hopes seemed to've faded away
The Fins took it in stride
Playing merely for pride
Then Gus yielded the way to Sage
Swiftly the tide it would turn
And the Bills, they would all too soon learn
That this squad quite determined
Would not be undermined*
For inside them desire did burn
The Fins battled back to their shock
But with only 6 ticks on the clock
The lead was still theirs
But all there were aware
That on victory's door they might knock
And with one lofted pass, it was through
Chambers hands trapped the ball that came to
As he hit the ground
What a deafening sound
The Bills' worst fears had come true
And with that extra point it was done
The Bills had clearly blown this one
And a snowball effect
Would then completely wreck
The Bills' season through the final gun
And only once more would they taste
Victory's ever succulent chase
5 wins just escaped
The cellar's embrace
But that brought nill solace to their face
And things don't look much better this year
When they'll likely soon bring up the rear
Grandpa Levy's expired
Should have stayed retired
And Jauron's an outcast no one fears
So to sum it all up, the Bills sucked
And in 2006, they are f**ked
Quite a long year ahead!
For the fans, whom I dread
Are once again, down on their luck
Of the trials of a long despised foe
Of the Buffalo Bills
