how will he do? Chris Collingsworth got me thinking when he said that Rivers will have a bang up year with L.T. and Gates as options. Before tonight I was thinking Rivers would need a transition year that he wouldn't be any good this year. But if you think about it Rivers is a third year QB, he has learned on the bench. He has good weapons in L.T. and Gates. Palmer blew up in his third year and he had little playing time before his 3rd year. Palmer learned on the bench for two years like Rivers and than he had a great 3rd year which was his first year as a starter. What do you think?

I think Rivers will do alright but not like Brees. The Chargers obviously have some options for Rivers so he should do at least mediocre. I think Alex Smith could go .500 on San Diego. lol Ive been getting him in fantasy draft hopeing to get lucky. But thats what I think.
