Just like his last LP The New Danger, Mos Def is dropping a new album out of no where. These days you hear about an artist working on a new album at least six months before it drops. But not Mos Def, in less than two months on September 26 he will release album number three.
After his universally hailed debut and his mix reviewed sophomore effort, the Mighty Mos is back with True Magic. No word as of yet who will produce or appear on the album, or whether or not it’ll be more of a straight forward “Hip-Hop” album or a mix of rock and rap like the last one.

It will drop on Geffen once again.

That site is kind've off, because Mos Def told XXL or Source or one of those magazines about this album a bit back. I can't wait for it though - dude actually spits with sense. He's nice.

There was a thread about the album on the IC (allhiphop's board) months ago..

It's not a big deal at all though, thanks for posting it because I didn't know it was dropping 9/26.

Mos Def is one of my favs! I'll definitely be picking this one up.

I know it's just an apperence, but I always thought this was cool.
