Samsung Unveils Worlds Largest LCD

Sony quit manufacturing Plasma TVs more than a year ago. Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) are the future of Television. In the past, there have been issues with large LCD TVs such as Ghosting(slow response time causes images to ghost) and a lack of HD support.

Samsung has revieled the world's largest LCD Television, coming in at a grotesque 70" with 180 degree Viewing Angle. It supports 1080p and the contrast ratio is a whopping 2000:1. To make ghosting a thing of the past, it has a 8ms refresh rate.

To put it simple............this thing is a F'n BEAST. The future looks bright my friends.

If you can't wait for the 70" TV its size may not be enough, then there is always Panasonic's that will be offered in very limited numbers this holiday season. The TV TH-103PZ600U will cost $69,995 and 95 cents, but come with a three-year in-home limited warranty, which - according to its manufacturer - is "unprecedented" in the industry.
