problem finding this part of photoshop

1.Create New layer.
2.Draw a rounded rectangle about the size you need for a screen.

Now for a little layer jumping…

3.Cmd/Ctrl+Click on the “screen” to load the selection.
4. Choose our iface layer. (layer 1)


can someone explain rule 3.? whats Cmd?

I am pretty sure that cmd stands for command. I think that some computer systems have a cmd key instead of a control key. I could be wrong though.

cmd is usually for a mac also known as apple... it'll probably translate to alt+ctrl for a pc or may require the use of shift.

cmd/ctrl mean either or... mac/win

so if your on a windows machine that line should read

3. Ctrl+Click on the “screen” to load the selection.
