My first animated GIF, thoughts please

Ok so I got Image Ready the other day and remember seeing a post on here on how to make animated GIFs. So I took an avatar I use at another fourm and messed around with it, heres what I came up with..... mind you I am gonna have to work on the size if I am gonna use it for an avatar, but I think I did good for a first try.

I think so. If I understand it right, you just have to adjust the frames in the tween option. This is how I did it.

I started with just the black background. Then duplicated the layer in the animation window. Then click the eye in the layer box to add the red eye. Then I clicked the tween option in the animation window and adujsted it to 5 fromes (from 15). Then repeated the steps above to get the whole thing. Not sure if you already knew all that or not. But thats how I did it, so Im sure I could slow it down, but that is the speed I liked it at.
