Larry Coker went out a winner and with dignity Thursday night in the Orange Bowl. Sources tell CaneSport he will be fired Friday.

Coker was a good guy..i never met him but he always seemed a kool dude to be around..this is a business and he didnt improve

before the season i predicted coker would be fired before the bowl game and shannon would coach whatever bowl game they got, so let's hope that's the case. :wink:

Tonight, Miami coach Larry Coker will feast with his players and assistants on turkey and the trimmings. On Thanksgiving night, he will run through the Orange Bowl smoke for likely the last time. Coker is expected to be dismissed by the university as early as Friday morning.
