Geographically.... maybe.
but you're switching AFC & NFC teams along with killing those rivalries you spoke of, and I don't think that equates to a better league.

I know, thats why i think if weren't already set rivalries it would work. I know i would love to be in a divison with Jax, Atl, and TB. It'd be like Florida bragging rights. Same with like Houston and Dallas when they play every year.

The divisions need to never be touched. It was better with the 3 divisions because that way you usually didn't have those 9-7 or 10-6 division winners that you get a lot now-a-days. I can deal with the way it is now but if they ever change it again, I'll be mad.

Actually, there's only one NY team in there, the Bills.
Oh yeah, and the 2 Jersey teams.

Anything that involves losing division rivals (Buffalo, Jets or Pats) I want no part of...
It took decades to create the GREAT rivalries the NFL has now. Destroying that for the sake of "geographical" alignment makes no snese to me.

Yeah, why mess up rivalries?

Pure geographical alignment like this kills TV ratings, and those are the geese that lay the NFL's golden eggs.

I remember when the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons were in the same division.
If we were in the NFC we would have a shot at the playoffs still.
