I know how to post a link to a given thread....but how do you narrow it down to display the specific post in that thread?
I have seen others do it but cant recall....do you add &count or &post or something to the link?

Easy...at the top right of the post is a number. Just right click on the number and copy the URL of that post then cite it (http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showpost.php?p=1061576774&postcount=1)

On the top right hand of your post you will see a number.Click on that and an individual url for that post will open up.

You'll notice that each quote begins with quote=posters_name and ends with /quote. Both quote passages are encased in [ ] symbols.
The hard way is to just cut out the quote and begin and end each sub-quote with the syntax above. The easy way is to just cut out the part you want to reply to and use the http://images.finheaven.com/forums/editor/quote.gif to form quotes around the passages.
