I'm not sure what's crazier, the actual footage or what the say happened to the guy at the very end. I can't really comment on it without giving away the ending, but that guy definately takes a certain motto to the extreme.

It's a pretty sick thing to do, although I understand his wanting to live life "fully" since he probably knew that his case of leukemia was terminal.

Exactly what I thought. Hell, I take crazy risks now, and I'm NOT a terminal cancer patient, I can only imagine what I'd attempt if I knew I only had X amount of time to live. That ending was completely the opposite of what I expected though, It went from pretty cool video to pretty sad video, lol.
