I have made a animated GIF I would like to use as an avatar. And so far the only place I have been able to put it is in my profile on my space. I know how to save for web in photo shop. But I need to know how to make the file size smaller in Image Ready. I can get the pixels where I want them, but not the file size. Can anyone help me with this?

Unfortunately animated gifs usually carry a large file size, so for it to meet FH's 19.5 kb size you might have to reduce the pixels by a lot. I did one a week or two ago for a Jets fan and had to reduce the pixels from 152 to somewhere around 100, reducing the overall size.

This was the original 152 x 152 avy.

So as you can see, it reduced it by a lot.

Anyway, to resize it in ImageReady go to Image > Image Size and then reduce it in steps until you find your ideal size.

Hope that helps you bro.
