yeah this game is going to be awesome. i am still going to get it even though i have a ps3. PS2 is my alltime favorite system.

Sony is probably kicking themselves for not having their developers make GOW2 a PS3 game.

I doubt we'll see a PS3 port, but it's a virtual certainty that if there's a part 3, it'll be a PS3 game. But will it arrive in time?

Yeah, before the PS3 dies. I think the PS3 is going to win, but recent developments--the ongoing success of the PS2, the 360 "winning" the Christmas sales rush, Wii shortages, and people all over the country reporting PS3 surpluses (my local Best Buy has FIFTY)--I'm starting to wonder.

I'm getting one at some point regardless, but... come on, Sony. We need you around, if only because competition is a good thing.

We'll see if it affects sales. I'm not getting a PS3 for another year at the least, and I'm currently in the market for a Wii, but hopefully the PS3 can pick up some steam here. MGS4 alone can't make it a winner.

I think the thing is most people have a 360 right now (or just got one for chritmas) so there is no "need" for a ps3 right now. March is gonna be huge for them though. Then you have FF, MSG, Ninja Gaiden. Although I'm not sure if Gaiden is a ps3 exclusive..

I thought I remember playing it on the xbox. We shall see..;)

Like I said though I believe the ps3 outsold the 360 in the north american market in the same time span (2 months) right after release. I personally think the ps3 needs to concentrate more on on-line games like the 360 seems to do.

God of War and Spartan (if you haven't played it check it out..very cool) are the only games I've completed in about 3 years.

The third god of war will be on ps3 I heard. The thing about them going ps3 before it would have severly delayed the game and they wouldn't make as much on it since not all households have a ps3 unlike ps2 where tons of homes have them.
