View Full Version : So, my wife thinks I'm being too tough on our daugther

I don't think I'm too tough, I just don't want any lazy kids. I think being active is important, even for girls. So, I see no problem with having her do some simple exercises... even if she's only 8 months old.
I'm pretty impressed with how much she's accomplished. I mean, how many 7 month old boys can do this?

Were you in the Marines? My dad was a drill corps instructor so things had to be a certain way when I was going up....a tidy room and stuff. But my dad never hit me as a kid he would just give me this look and I knew not to mess up. I think it is good to make sure your kids have some discipline and are not lazy. But kids should also be allowed to be kids.
