Quotes:
The Texans finally admitted what's been reported for a while now: David Carr is on the trading block. Houston is hoping to get a third-round pick for Carr that could escalate to a second-rounder. Houston, though, could have a hard time unloading Carr.
-- Fort Worth Star-Telegram
Houston is trying to trade David Carr, and thinks it may have a taker before the draft... Minnesota and Oakland are the two rumored destinations, but don't count out Miami, which never has met a quarterback it wouldn't trade to get, or Kansas City.

I don't want him, but i would take a chance on him as a backup. He's never had a running game besides 2 years ago and has the worst offensive line in football.

Just say NOOOO to Carr....we already have Joey...we don't need Joey II.
you got to atleast give it to the texans for trying .they realise that it does not matter how many times you fail in the qb in first round . if you find a QB though , you can then build the team around him and contend for 8-9 yrs.

He needs a fresh start to have a good year look at Jake Plummer

Yeah, and Houston isnt exactly a good organization, and hasnt really had good coaching. Similar to Joey and his situation in Detroit. I like Joey as well, and think he can improve under Cam. I think the same of Carr. If Daunte is indeed planned to start and the rehab goes okay... I would see Carr as a better option at backup than Joey... but for a third/possibly second round pick... I dont think its going to happen.

He may not be the problem, but he sure isn't their solution. I'd rather see Sage given a chance to play.
