In this market you consider 3 M contract a over pay !!!

Blahhhhh....
Where in the world is all the Pats money coming from. I don't know how they will afford their 2 1st picks in the draft. They annoy me, It is almost like they purposely signed Stallworth so we wouldn't. I hope the dolphins murder the Pats next year with all those freeagents the Pats are signing.

It isn't the first year Im looking at. Im sure the Pats arent going to keep him longer unless he restructures.

Dude the cap went up 27% due to new cba so every team got this extra case.If not the miami would have been in even more hole in cap space. The colts signing reggie wayne with a big bonuse if this had not happend he would have been a FA.

Peter King reports: Stallworth turned down more money from the Titans :
"The Patriots signed the receiver Tennessee really wanted, Donte' Stallworth. The Titans offered him more guaranteed money and more average per year than New England did, but the Patriots got him because they're a better team with a better quarterback right now."

Apparently, money wasn't the most important thing to Stallworth.

It actually makes me happy to see a player who actually wanted to go somewhere where he thought he could win....he's wrong.....but its noble.
