8 draft picks now...

The Dolphins now will have 8 draft picks due to the failure of the Denver trade. Would be nice to accomodate Mare and get a 6th round pick back. But it looks like future mock drafts will need to adjust for just one 6th round pick.

It sucks, but the "Tom Brady rule" aside for a moment, most of the guys you are picking over by the sixth round could just as easily slip right on out of the draft.

I am hoping that Mueller will find us some diamonds in the rough in the day or two after the draft. Doesn't get talked about much, but talent can be found there, as well. Not immediate starters, but talented prospects who could be backups in a year or two and possible starters in three.

Well, that's my silver lining after the Wilkinson runaway bride debacle. :D
