Hey everyone....just got back from my trip to Miami.
Drove by the Grand Dame of S Fla sports - the Orange Bowl, where it all started. Reminisced about some great games I went to there. The Chargers classic, the Bears lone defeat, and many more. She may be old and rickety, but games were always a blast there. Plus my sister was a cheerleader for the Dolphins their last 2 years there. Loved walking thru Little Havana on my way to Monday Night games, the food, drinks, culture,.....
Drove by Pro Player, saw some great games there also, but no classics like the ones mentioned above.
Just the sight of those made my mind wander about moving back.
S Beach is still rockin', unbelievable sights down there (female that is)
Did a dive in Naples (Fins - visibility not good, but still great to hit the water). Saw some HUGE grouper, then proceded to have fried grouper at Kelly's that night. Great dinner. (Sorry I did not get your PM before leaving).
BBQ at Porky's the night before, funny seeing a red neck bar in Naples!
Picked up some Fins and Canes garb. The new Orange Fins hat looks great.
Great to be "Home" for a few days.
