So I beat FF12.
Worst last level in the FF series.
The "super fortress" Bahamut was pathetically short. It was boring and had no life to it what so ever. Once you got to Gabranth, it's over. And that takes 10 seconds... Literally. he end of the game seems terribly rushed and tacked on.
Worst last boss in the FF series.
Lord Vaynr isn't even 1/10th as cool as Sephiroth, Kefka, or Gabranth. The whole Venat empowering him was too stupid. Again, felt tacked on as hell. Oh, and all 3 phases were EASY AS HELL. Sucky end fight. I can't even hum the final boss tune. That means i was very forgettable.
Great ending.
Basch taking the role of Gabranth is great. The queen coming into he own, and Balthier surviving the crash of Bahamut. All great. Lots of Square's A+ CG animation. Loved it. Now if I had some way of watching it without having to sit through that boring 45 minute last boss session.
