Wishful thinking . He will be taken way before then.

Don't know if he'll still be there. Still think we have to address the O-line before our Dbacks.

Brandon Merriweather would be perfect in the second. He could come in and play right away, the only one beside Landry that could do that.

That guy is the definition of a workout warrior. He went from having a 4th to 5th round projection to a 2nd round projection with his workouts at the combine. I do have to admit though, he's ripped.

Brandon Meriweather would be great, I hope he is still available.

I think there is a reasonable chance that Meriweather or Griffin falls to 40. I would be happy with either pick.
I like our #40 more than I like our #9. There are so many guys that could potentially fall out of the first round that could help us. Before the news about Allen moving back to CB, I was crossing my fingers McCauley would fall to us. Now, I am hoping for Meriweather. If both safeties are gone, then perhaps a WR (Craig Davis, Sidney Rice, or Steve Smith) or an OL (Grubbs, Blalock, Kalil, Sears) will be there. Another guy I would love to see fall would be Anthony Spencer although I doubt he makes it to Round 2.

I think Merriweather will be a solid pro but, in my opinion, he will be long gone by then. I'd much prefer Edwards/Stanton and Landry to Quinn and Merriweather.

a safety like merriwether or griffin would be a good pick up in round 2. One of them should be avialable at 40, and if not, tanard jackosn could fall to 60. I like one of them to play oppostie y. bell to complete our safety crops. It's kind o fsad that our secondary is such an issue now. I wish we could go back to the glory days of madison, surtain, marion, and knight

the fact that he moved to CB still means that we have no QB, a real threat at WR, 4 OL spots to fill, and need a back up RB-now with that said if its not if we dont adress offense with that first pick-say we somehow luck out and get Landry-or we actually want Okoye- we have to get QUALITY offensive bodies (in the next couple of rounds) in the organiztion-and not just depth fillers either-we need starters
