In addition, the Raiders spent part of Friday making telephone calls trying to find a veteran quarterback to acquire before Saturday's draft. The Raiders do not want to exit draft weekend with a rookie quarterback backed up only by 2005 third-round pick Andrew Walter, who is mostly a failure as a part-time Oakland starter last fall.

Peter King also has the Dolphins moving up to #5 to grab Joe Thomas. Hmmmm. Talk about a STUD offensive lineman. We'd be set for a decade with him. I'm sure Coach Houck would be on cloud nine. Question is .... the sticker price to move up. Would Randy and Cam do it? Hmmmmmmm.

I'm fine with moving up to #5 for thomas, or 6-7 to get Landry, but 2-4 to get quinn is not worth it. Up to 5 to grab quinn yes.
