been there 3 times since 85, and have one more point on the average scored against them. that 1990 blowout in the afc championship game they lost to buffalo, 51-3, really upped the point average!:D

The kings of ugly playoff losses
Worst average playoff
losses since '85
Losses PPG Diff.
Chargers 3 23.0
Dolphins 10 21.0
Broncos 7 19.7
Giants 5 19.2
Since the Dolphins last went to the Super Bowl in 1985, only one other team has an average margin of defeat in the playoffs. Miami has lost by an average of 21 points in its last 10 playoff defeats, second only to the Chargers, who have just three losses over that span. The Dolphins have put up single-digit point totals in their last five losing postseason efforts.
