Bobby Convey is close to going to Spurs

I don't know if this is good or bad. Yes, it is good for Bobby, but here is the bad part:

He is going to Tottenham Hotspur! Their manager is widely recognized as the biggest idiot in the EPL. All the guy does is sign strikers and their defense is the worst in the EPL because of it. However, maybe he will use Convey in defense, because they really need help there. I am happy for Convey though, his game is really going to improve.


Spurs will now have two Americans. Their #1 keeper is Kasey Keller.

You are wrong there. He is special. He played in the MLS at 16. He isn't that good yet, but he is starting to really improve. Bobby Convey is the only American to play in every single USA game this year, so Bruce Arena certainly does think he is good.

Wow, didn't know he played in MLS when he was 16. Okay then he HAS potential. He needs to turn that potential to ability.
