McCain get's a 17 point convention bounce in Gallup Poll?

On 9/02/2008 Obama was +7 and now on 09/07/2008 MCcain is +10.

What's impressive about this poll is McCain is running at 54%.

I follow Real Clear Politics closely, and I was a little worried a week or so ago, when the RCP average was Obama +8. Since that time it has completely reversed, and honestly, I am not so sure it is over yet.

Polls immediately after Palin's pick stayed the same, maybe better for Obama. Immediately after the convention this occurred.
