Backup QB Brian Griese has resumed throwing on a limited basis but won't practice this week. Griese has been sidelined since suffering ligament damage in his left big toe during an exhibition game Aug. 22. The Dolphins have a bye next week, and the earliest he might be ready to play is Oct. 5 against the Giants

Does anyone think Griese will actually see playing time this year or is he going to be cut?

Backup QB Brian Griese has resumed throwing keggers on a limited basis. He should also soon be throwing his back out tripping over Ricky Williams dog in the rb's driveway.

Unless Fiedler gets hurt, Griese is pretty much irrelevant. I don't think he's any kind of a threat to displace Fiedler as starter.

i wouldn't think either, Denver was in no hurry to keep him. Fiedler can manage a game, as long RW is running well. That's our big key, to stop RW. We won despite RW last year's games, so if he's negated it should be even easier. But that's a big task for Sam Adams and the boys
