Old Zach is still better right now than Channing Crowder (as far as the MLB position in our type of defense)....bring him home....he can always coach Rey M or Laurinaitis next year if need be).

Zach is done. No way we bring him here. His success relied on the mammoth DT's we had in Tim Bowens and Larry Chester. In a 3-4 he would get mauled by the O-line.

He struggled in the 3-4 this year . . . he is pretty much finished. He had a great career, but he doesn't fit the linebacker mold that parcells is looking for in a ILB.
Give him that 1 day contract to retire as a fin.
Alot of Zach's weaknesses got exposed this year . . . combine that with his age, and he needs to hang the cleats up.

I watched all of the Cowboy games that were broadcast here on TV and I don't remember hearing his name get called one time.
The D-linemen make most of the plays on their Defense.

Bring him home as a coach. Remember earlier this year there was a laeague wide survey of who the smartest defensive player was; Zach's name came up very often. I think he would be a terrific coach if he has the desire.
