Madden really worth it?

I got a PS3 for xmas from my awesome wife! i got MGS4 and Oblivion. i was going to get madden but when i read about how the franchise mode didnt change much from 2008, i might be holding off on this one. i think i have decided to wait for '10. but i cant see myself not playing football for another 7-8 months...yikes. anyone got any other sports games that are worth it?

Madden 09 is an amazzing game IMO. A very good buy. You should get it. Plus if you get PSN you get roster updates and what not. You should definately go ahead and buy it.

I'd have to say to pass on Madden 09 and just wait for '10 to release in August.
